Born in 1954 with Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome, not properly diagnosed until 2002, this is my life with a congenital disorder that gave me the fortune of a fairly regular childhood, the opportunity to marry, bear and raise children, get a college degree, and work, although not without periodic interruptions, until just after my 40th birthday, and now, the challenges of a medical prescription that directs me to live life in a reclining position no less than 20-hours a day.
